    A set of great ready-to-use promotional materials. The set is for any language and is mainly meant for use in Alberta schools but most of the information in the kit is useful anywhere. 
     
School Administrator’s Guide to Implementing Language Programming - Alberta Education
    The School Administrator’s Guide to Implementing Language Programming serves as a starting point to plan for and implement language programming. It provides a general overview, suggests practical strategies for working with students, parents, teachers and the surrounding community, and includes details on areas to address in selecting and implementing a language program.
     
Advocacy Kit (2nd Edition) - The Japan Foundation Los Angeles
    The Japan Foundation Advocacy Kit was released by the Japan Foundation Los Angeles Office in 2004 for the purpose of giving those in the US with an interest in starting, developing, or strengthening a K-12 Japanese language program the tools to do it. The kit consists of 5 materials, and a video (available on with a hardcopy of the kit). Although the kit is meant be used by schools in the US, it still provides good information and ideas for advocating any Japanese language program.
